
Come early with your labeled plants and seeds 10-11 am at the Mililani Hongwanji Mission. Organizers ask that attendees be prepared to bring home anything that’s not taken. The Blood Bank of Hawai’i will be on the property if you’re interested in donating blood as well.
Drop by the Kaiwiʻula Night Market from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Bishop Museum to adopt native plants for free as part of the Grow Aloha program. Reserve your plant online and visit the Grow Aloha Booth at the market to pick up your plant - note that online reservations fill quickly, so visit the site to find out when reservations open.
The monthly plant exchange takes place at Koko Marina Center every 3rd Saturday from 10 am – 1:00 pm in the Marina Courtyard next to Assagio’s as part of 808 Craft & Gift Fairs. Seedlings, seeds, fruit, succulents, pots are shared.
A plant share will be taking place 10 am-noon during the Ko’olau Center’s 808 Craft and Gift Fair, and plant share attendees are asked to bring seeds, plants, pots, dirt, donuts - something to share. Setup begins at 9:30 am (no earlier), and the share begins at 10 am. At noon, everything is packed up and whatever's left is taken to the freestores. Organizers as that attendees not take more then one plant at the start and to label your plants and seeds.
